ADEC announces its need for the following positions, for "Construction Supervision and Construction Management Services for princess Muna Al-Hussein Maternity Hospital at the King Hussein Medical Center/ Royal Medical Services". Financed by The United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
1) Project Maneger, the candidate must have the following Qualifications:
*A university degree in civil engineering.
*Must be of Jordanian nationality, and English fluency Level of IV is required (TOEIC, TOFEL, ILTS, maximum validity of 5 years)
*General construction experience not less than 20 years in implementation or supervision, or both, 15 years in building projects. Out of them 10 years minimum as managerial level.
*The practical experience must include at least two 2 projects of similar scale and nature of the project in question (Hospital with – No. of Beds). With proof of experience from the project’s employers.
*Holding a PMP (Project Management Professional) Certificate, or master’s degree in management or any equivalent certificate.
*Exceptional knowledge in construction contract conditions including FIDIC Conditions of contact for works of Civil Engineering Construction 1987 reprinted 1992 and 1999 editions, claims management, planning and scheduling and construction management skills. With any course attendance proof for FIDIC training will add advantage to the candidate.
*Excellent leadership, presentation and communication skills. Must be fluent in English, a proof of level IV English is required (TOEIC, TOFEL, ILTS) and shall be submitted with the proposal.
2) Quality Control Engineer, the candidate must have the following Qualifications:
*A degree in civil engineering.
*General construction experience not less than (12) years in implementation or supervision. The practical experience must include at least two (2) Projects with similar scale and nature of the Project in question (Hospitals). Out of the 12 years, a minimum of 5 years should have been dedicated to working as a Quality Control specialist.
*Must be fluent in English, Proof of Level IV English is required.
*Exceptional knowledge of construction quality assurance and quality control.
*Any specialized certificate for health care quality in construction will be considered. Like HCAC (Health Care Accreditation council) or any equivalent.

3) Health and Safety Officer: the candidate must have the following Qualifications:
*A degree in civil, industrial, mechanical, electrical, architectural or safety engineering.
*A minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of safety in construction projects and hold certifications such as OSHA, NIOSH, NOSHAH, or NEBOSH.
